In the spring of 1982, a sense of unease settled over the family and friends of Jacques Joseph Duguay, a 29-year-old man from Saint John, New Brunswick. Concerns for his well-being began to mount after his 1975 Chevrolet half-ton pickup truck was discovered abandoned.
