In the late winter of 2011, a young man named Patrick Sam Copelin, aged 21, vanished from Niagara Falls, New York. On March 8th of that year, his life took a tragic and public turn when he was last seen at Prospect Point, a popular viewing area for the American Falls. Eyewitnesses reported observing the distressing event of Patrick going into the turbulent waters below.
