On May 7, 1961, a shy, 12-year-old girl named Brenda Marion Byman vanished from the small community of Wilmer, British Columbia. The day before, she had gone for her very first sleepover at a friend's house. On the day she went missing, Brenda, a female with strawberry blonde hair, embarked on a hike to the Lake Enid area with four other teenagers.
