In the summer of 2019, concern began to grow for a 27-year-old man from Eastern Ontario named Danick Bourgeois. He was last in contact with his relatives in July of that year in the St-Bernardin area of Nation Municipality. As weeks turned into months with no word, his family officially reported him missing in September 2019.
