Mathieu Beauregard Messier was at home with his wife on April 30, 2008 in Farnham, Quebec. At approximately 7:00 p.m. that night, Mathieu told his wife he had to go see a friend and that he would be back later in the evening. Mathieu left alone in his wife’s vehicle and with her cellphone.
