Joey Roberts, a 42-year-old man from Albany, Georgia, went missing on April 1, 2020. He was last seen after being released from the Lee County Jail. Authorities discovered skeletal remains near Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany in September 2023, which were later identified as Roberts' through DNA testing. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the cause of death, although foul play has not been ruled out.
