In the summer of 2025, a family's life was irrevocably changed when 38-year-old Nicholas "Nick" Kummer vanished from Austin, Texas. On July 18, Nicholas was last seen leaving a relative's home in the 78747 area of the city. He was reportedly on his way to a nearby homeless encampment.
