David Schink, age 61, was last seen on February 13, 2021, while kayaking near Norriego Point in Destin, Florida. A seasoned kayaker and former collegiate swimmer, Schink frequently paddled in the area while vacationing with his wife. That day, he did not return, prompting an extensive search by the U.S. Coast Guard, which covered over 9,000 square miles. Although his kayak and a broken paddle were found, Schink remains missing.
