In the spring of 2021, the community of Turkey Creek, Kentucky, was left with a lingering question when Michael Dixon, a 59-year-old lifelong resident of Pike County, vanished. He was last seen on April 14, 2021, near the Tug Fork Apartments in the Belfry area. According to some accounts, he had plans to go fishing in the Tug River that day.
