Eric Crenshaw was publicly identified in Texas media reports as a 17-year-old from the New Caney area whose disappearance prompted an AMBER Alert. Reports stated that he was last seen in New Caney on a Monday morning, and authorities described him as wearing a black hoodie, white sweatpants with a Grinch logo, and camouflage Crocs. Public reporting also indicated that the New Caney ISD Police Department was the agency asking for tips as the alert spread.
