In the fall of 2021, concern grew for the welfare of Daniel Dwayne Sikes, a 46-year-old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was last seen on October 8, 2021, in the vicinity of the 13000 block of Board Street, where he was residing in a group home. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance were unclear, with reports suggesting he might have been taken to a local hospital and subsequently released.
