Authorities are seeking public assistance in the case of 15-year-old Debra "Dawn" Moore, who was reported missing from the Houston, Texas area on July 20, 2025. At the time of her disappearance, she was 14 years old. Moore, who also goes by the nickname “Dawn,” was last seen in the Highlands area of Harris County at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Clear Lake Road. Her clothing description at the time she went missing is unknown.
Debra is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with brown eyes and light brown hair. She has a distinguishing mole on her left cheek. Her legal guardian and aunt, Jessica Wall, stated that on the morning of her disappearance, Debra was at home watching television. When Wall returned from work, she discovered that the teenager was gone. Another aunt, Tara Harvey, mentioned that a note was left indicating Debra was going to a friend's house and would be back the following day, but she never returned.
Family members have expressed their deep concern for her safety and are pleading for her to return home. The last known sighting of Debra was near Highlands Park, a place she often frequented. Some boys reported seeing her there around 2:00 p.m., and she appeared to be alone and listening to music with headphones.
