Miriam Lopez, a 38-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically killed on April 2, 2018, in her home in Corpus Christi, Texas. The incident occurred in the London Estates subdivision, just outside the city limits. Miriam and her husband, Arturo Lopez, 39, were found shot to death in their bedroom. The Nueces County Sheriff's Office initially received a call about a possible murder-suicide, but upon arrival, it became clear that the couple had been victims of a violent home invasion.
