In the spring of 2022, concerns grew for a 30-year-old woman named Kristie Lee Crampton from West Branch, Michigan. The days leading up to her disappearance involved some travel and attempts to arrange further transportation. On May 9, 2022, a friend gave her a ride from Ann Arbor, Michigan, back to her home in West Branch.
