In St. Louis, Missouri, a now 37-year-old man named Ian Mathew Shotton vanished, leaving his loved ones in a state of confusion and distress. On May 19, 2022, the 33-year-old's mother received a text message from him which stated that she should not be concerned if she did not hear from him, as he was going to be working at a dog food factory in Chicago, Illinois.
