This belief was supported by the discovery of his bike near the canyon, above the Provo Temple.
Friends of Jonathan also mentioned that he frequented Rock Canyon and had spoken of going there just days before he vanished. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a blue t-shirt, tan shorts, and either Teva sandals or hiking boots.
