Raymond Aurall Blanchette, a 91-year-old man from Bastrop, Texas, was last seen on January 10, 2022, at the American Legion Post 533 in Bastrop. However, he was not reported missing until over two years later, on February 1, 2024. The last time he was seen by anyone outside of his family was in the summer of 2021.
At the time of his disappearance, Blanchette was described as a White male, standing at 5'10" tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
He has gray hair and blue eyes. Details regarding the clothing he was wearing at the time he was last seen are unknown.
Few details are available in connection with his case. Authorities have noted that Blanchette was known to operate multiple vehicles. A significant detail in the investigation is that he used the same Disabled Veteran license plate, 80736DV, on these different vehicles. The makes, models, and colors of the vehicles have not been widely publicized.
