On February 15, 2008, 27-year-old Jarib Bennett, his friend Sasha Davis, and her four-month-old daughter, Selah Davis, departed from the Bronx, New York, for a planned trip to visit friends in Rochester, New York. The group was expected to return on February 19, but they never arrived at their destination and all communication with them ceased. Concern grew as days turned into weeks with no word.
