Albert O’Leary, a 26-year-old resident of the Eagle Rock neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, was last seen in the early morning hours of February 14, 1988, in North Hollywood. A friend of O'Leary reported seeing him at approximately 1:00 a.m. outside the Jobsite Bar, located in the 5600 block of Vineland Avenue. At the time, O'Leary was observed sitting alone in the back of his Nissan pickup truck. He has not been seen or heard from since that time.
More than a week after he was last seen, O'Leary's Nissan pickup truck was discovered abandoned in the Angeles National Forest. There was no sign of O'Leary at the location where his vehicle was found. Law enforcement officials have classified his disappearance as suspicious.
At the time of his disappearance, Albert O'Leary was described as a 6'2" white male, weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may have had a mustache and was known to wear eyeglasses. The clothing he was last seen wearing consisted of a blue t-shirt, jeans, and white shoes. He was also wearing a watch with a black band. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating his case, with the Adult Missing Persons Unit handling the inquiry.
