In mid-May 2007, six-year-old Alfredo Miguel-Angel Perez was reported abducted by his non-custodial father from Wichita, Kansas. A long-running volunteer clearinghouse that tracks family-abduction cases lists Alfredo’s disappearance as occurring on May 19, 2007, and notes that the child was taken by his father.
