Patrick Joseph Per, a 59-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was last seen on April 20, 2024. His disappearance occurred under distressing circumstances when his boat capsized on the San Jacinto River near the dam. At the time of the incident, Per was not wearing a lifejacket. The boat overturned due to rough waters and an approaching storm, pulling him toward the dam.
