In the spring of 2025, the community of Asheville, North Carolina, grew concerned over the disappearance of 16-year-old Nadiia Egypt Acosta. The young female was last seen on the evening of Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her residence in the Kensington Place Apartments. Nadiia is described as a white and/or Hispanic female, standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
