April Michelle Pickens, a 29-year-old mother of five, disappeared on December 27, 2011, from Asheville, North Carolina. She was last seen at her residence in the Pisgah View Apartments. On the day she went missing, Pickens had told her sister that she was going to meet a male friend, though she did not disclose his name.
