In the quiet community of Delaware, Ohio, the life of a young man named Trenton Rollins took a tragic and unforeseen turn, leaving his family and friends in a state of profound grief. The 21-year-old was last seen in the early morning hours of March 16, 2025. He was captured on his home's Ring camera leaving the residence. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black pants, a black zip-up hooded sweater, and carrying a black backpack. Trenton was believed to be driving his dark blue 2018 BMW 430i with Ohio license plate KOR-6295. Initial investigations by the Delaware Police Department suggested that Trenton had left on his own accord, and they did not suspect any foul play was involved in his vanishing. As days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, the search for Trenton continued with a growing sense of urgency and despair. His family and friends created a Facebook group to share updates and coordinate search efforts, desperately seeking any information that might lead to his whereabouts. The official search involved multiple law enforcement agencies, but the crucial breakthrough in the case came from the efforts of Chaos Diving, an independent search and rescue organization hired by Trenton's family. In early December 2025, about eight months after he was last seen, Chaos Diving located a submerged vehicle in Hoover Reservoir that matched the description of Trenton's BMW. The discovery of the submerged vehicle marked a somber turning point in the long search for Trenton. With the assistance of the Columbus Division of Police Dive Team, the car was recovered from the water. Tragically, human remains were found inside the vehicle. While awaiting formal identification and an autopsy by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office, authorities stated that the remains were believed to be those of Trenton Rollins. The Delaware Police Department expressed its gratitude to all the agencies and organizations that assisted in this phase of the investigation. In the midst of their profound loss, Trenton's family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support they had received throughout their ordeal, stating that while their hearts are heavy with grief, they find comfort in having answers after months of uncertainty. The case, which began as a missing person investigation, concluded with the heartbreaking discovery of a young life lost, leaving a community to mourn and remember a man whose presence, they said, brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew him.
