On September 2, 2016, in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, a violent domestic incident unfolded at 35 Vinton Road. Authorities have planned a renewed search effort for March 21, 2025, utilizing advanced mapping software to analyze the terrain and determine likely locations Young may have traveled, considering his injuries and environmental conditions at the time. Multiple agencies, including the Sturbridge Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Special Emergency Response Team, and Mass Search and Rescue K9 teams, will participate in the grid search.
