Wallace "Chubby" Gray II, a 26-year-old boat captain, was last seen on December 17, 2012, while out at sea aboard the *Foxy Lady II*, a 45-foot fishing vessel. The boat and its crew, including Gray and his 50-year-old crewman Wayne Young, set out from Gloucester, Massachusetts, on a routine fishing trip but never returned as scheduled. The vessel's last known location was approximately 10 miles north of Provincetown, Massachusetts.
After the boat failed to return, a large-scale search was launched by the U.S. Coast Guard. Despite extensive efforts, including the discovery of the *Foxy Lady II*'s lifeboat in the Saugus River and fishing gear that washed ashore on Nantasket Beach, neither Gray nor Young were ever found.
