In August 2023, 27-year-old Gerrielle German and her 2-year-old son, Ashton Mitchell, vanished from Florissant, Missouri. Originally from Horn Lake, Mississippi, German had relocated to Missouri in July 2023, reportedly to pursue a spiritual journey. She and her son were last seen on August 13, 2023, at a Quality Inn Hotel in Florissant.
