Kelly Gravitt, a 34-year-old veteran from Pāhoa, Hawaii, was last seen on May 12, 2023, at the Black Lava Vape Shop in the Puna Kai Shopping Center. He was reported wearing gray shorts and carrying a rainbow-colored backpack. Gravitt, described as 6 feet tall with brown hair, blue eyes, a beard, and several tattoos on his face and neck, had regular communication with his family, which made his sudden disappearance concerning, especially after he missed his father's birthday on May 19.
