In the fall of 2024, a 34-year-old American Indian/Alaska Native woman named Sherrell Dawn Kessner-Kinegak was reported missing. She was last seen on October 8, 2024, at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance were immediately concerning, as it was reported that Sherrell had left her home and simply never came back.
