Katelynn is described as a female with red/auburn hair and blue eyes, standing at 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds.
Concern grew when she did not come back as expected and all communication ceased. The friend she went to meet later stated to investigators that he saw her get into what he believed was an Uber to go back to her cousin's house in Oakdale. However, there appears to be no record of her actually taking an Uber that night.
