In Anchorage, Alaska, a sense of concern arose for 40-year-old Paul Otis Patkotak, a male of American Indian / Alaska Native descent. On August 23, 2024, he was last seen leaving his assisted living facility in the evening and did not come back. Communication from him had ceased for a few weeks even before he was last seen, which was unusual and added to the worries of those who knew him. His last known location was in the vicinity of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
