Debra Ann Wilhite, a 19-year-old from Evansville, Indiana, disappeared on October 16, 1974, after leaving her job as a waitress at The Windmill Restaurant, a truck stop located at Highway 41 and 57. She had only been working at the restaurant for a week. Witnesses saw Debra talking to a man shortly before her shift ended. The man, who appeared to be in his middle age, claimed he had hitchhiked on a cattle truck to Evansville from Indianapolis and needed a ride to his motel. Some witnesses believ ...Read More
