Debra Ann Wilhite, a 19-year-old from Evansville, Indiana, disappeared on October 16, 1974, after leaving her job as a waitress at The Windmill Restaurant, a truck stop located at Highway 41 and 57. She had only been working at the restaurant for a week. Witnesses saw Debra talking to a man shortly before her shift ended.
