Mary Michelle Sprague, 19 years old at the time, disappeared from Daytona Beach, Florida, on September 11, 1979. That evening, she had visited her workplace, a nightclub in the 300 block of Madison Avenue, to collect her paycheck and have a few drinks. She left the nightclub around 1:00 a.m. after an argument with her boss. A cab driver later reported that they had to evade a truck that appeared to be following them as they left the club. Mary was never seen again after that night.
