George Elliot, a 53-year-old man from Lumberton, Mississippi, was last seen on August 1, 2023. He was reported missing after leaving a friend’s residence located along Highway 13 in the Baxterville community of Lamar County. At the time of his disappearance, Elliot was believed to be experiencing homelessness but had maintained regular contact with his family. Witnesses last observed him walking in an unknown direction, carrying a pellet rifle, and wearing dark-colored shorts.
