Aida Ruth Calfee, aged 25, disappeared on October 2, 1981, from Dahlonega, Georgia, under suspicious circumstances. She was last seen with her boyfriend, Jim Pruitt, after they canceled a planned fishing trip. According to Pruitt, they had an argument, and Aida allegedly got out of the car near the town square to hitchhike home. Witnesses reported seeing her heading south on Highway 19 and 41.
