Helen Ann Morgan, a 26-year-old woman from Barnesville, Georgia, went missing on May 13, 1984, which was Mother's Day. She lived with her mother and young daughter about four miles west of Barnesville. On the evening of her disappearance, Morgan received a phone call around 7:00 p.m. that was reportedly related to her job at the National Cash Register Company in Fayetteville.
