On the morning of March 31, 2006, Destiney Joy Hicks left her home on Hogan Road in Atlanta, Georgia, and was never seen or heard from again. At the time of her disappearance, she was 43 years old. Ms. Hicks was known to have schizophrenia, a detail that has been a point of concern for those involved in the search for her.
