Jenna Van Gelderen, a 25-year-old woman, disappeared on August 19, 2017, while house-sitting for her parents in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents were on vacation in Canada, and Jenna had been caring for their elderly cat. The last known contact was a text message she sent to a friend around 2:00 a.m., saying she was going to bed.
