Joseph Albert Criner, age 57, disappeared on June 1, 1992, while traveling from his home in Marietta, Georgia, to Augusta to visit his family. He had spoken with his youngest child over the phone, promising to meet for dinner on Father’s Day, but he never arrived. At the time of his disappearance, Joseph was 6'7" tall, weighed 245 pounds, and had white or gray hair and blue eyes. Known for wearing expensive clothing and jewelry, he left no trace of himself or his vehicle.
