Charles Daniel Edmonds Jr., age 22, was last seen on August 22, 1995, in Salem, Utah. He left a family member's home that night, reportedly stealing a neighbor's mountain bike. His vehicle, a Ford Bronco, was later discovered abandoned in Santaquin Canyon with his sleeping bag and hiking gear still inside. Authorities initially speculated that Edmonds may have had an accident while riding the stolen bike, which was never found.
Despite extensive searches in the Diamond Fork Canyon area, neither Edmonds nor the bike has been located.
Described as an experienced hiker, Edmonds was wearing a blue Marlboro shirt, blue Levi's, and Hi-Tec boots at the time of his disappearance. He also had a green jacket with his name on it. Authorities continue to consider his case unsolved, and his family remains without answers after all these years.
