Jeremy Freeman Crocker, aged 62, was last seen on December 9, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. He had left his home around 1:00 p.m. and took public transportation to the Los Angeles Central Library, where he was researching the crash of TWA Flight 800 from July of that year. Crocker, who held degrees in mechanical engineering and medical science, had been heavily involved in investigating this crash, believing a missile caused the disaster.
