In the winter of 1997, a young woman named Cheresa Lordi, just 19 years old, vanished from her home in Kansas City, Missouri. On the evening of February 14th, Valentine's Day, her brother-in-law gave her a ride to her apartment located in the vicinity of 11th and Benton Streets. This act of kindness would be the last confirmed time anyone saw Cheresa.
