Cheresa Lordi, a 19-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was last seen on February 14, 1997. She was dropped off at her apartment by her brother-in-law at the intersection of 11th and Benton Streets. Cheresa has not been heard from since. When her apartment was checked, her personal belongings, including her purse and clothing, were found inside, but there was no sign of her.
