Travis Killen Missing Person Case

Travis John Killen, an 18-year-old from Flora Vista, New Mexico, was last seen on November 23, 1997. He left his home near U.S. Route 550 driving his gray 1983 Ford Escort but never returned. The following day, on November 24, his car was found abandoned on Navajo Route 36 near the Chaco River, in a dirt water culvert. Despite extensive searches, there were no signs of Travis at the scene, and he has not been heard from since.

At the time of his disappearance, Travis was wearing a black tank top, blue or black work jeans, and black sneakers. He had distinctive scars on his right arm, right index finger, and earlobes from multiple piercings. He also had tattoos on his left shoulder and right hand. Foul play is suspected, and authorities continue to investigate his case as an endangered missing person. However, more than two decades later, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Travis’s case is being handled by the San Juan County Sheriff's Department, and anyone with information is urged to contact them to assist in resolving this cold case.
