Thomas Bendig, a 76-year-old man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was last seen on December 2, 2000. He disappeared after leaving his residence in the 4500 block of Tampa Street around 8:20 p.m. that evening. Bendig, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and required medication, did not take his eyeglasses with him and has not been heard from since.
