Hubert Valdez, a 28-year-old man, was last seen on April 29, 2003, in Van Horn, Texas. That night, Valdez was at Gilbert's Lounge, located on East Broadway, and left the bar around 2 a.m. Shortly after, his red Chevrolet pickup truck was found abandoned in an open lot near Mesquite Street and Frontage Road, a short distance from where he was last seen.
