Karen Sue Hurst, aged 43, was last seen on August 6, 2003, around 1:20 a.m. in the vicinity of North 7th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. She had been released from jail on a drug charge shortly before her disappearance. After her release, she left a gift at her mother's home and called to inform her about it.
