April Beth Pitzer, a 30-year-old woman, was last seen on June 28, 2004, in Newberry Springs, California. After a period of instability, including homelessness and untreated bipolar disorder, she had planned to travel back to her home state of Arkansas to reunite with her family. An acquaintance claimed to have dropped her off at a bus station, but April never made it to her destination.
