Asia Nicole Martin, a 19-year-old woman, disappeared from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on May 27, 2005. That evening, she called her mother at approximately 8:40 p.m., but was never heard from again. According to her roommate, Asia had left their shared apartment at Robinson Place Apartments to take a walk. She had also purchased a bus ticket to visit her mother in Denver, Colorado, but never boarded the bus.
Asia had taken time off from Pearl River Community College to care for her sick mother, and those close to her do not believe she would have voluntarily disappeared. Despite authorities suggesting that she may have left on her own accord, her family believes she is in danger. Her mother passed away after her disappearance, but her father continues to seek answers.
The case remains unsolved, and there have been no significant updates in recent years. Asia was last seen wearing casual clothing, and she had distinct features such as a crooked pinky finger and double-pierced ears.
