Cole Duane Jackson, aged 33, was last seen on July 13, 2006, near Farm to Market Road 1645 and County Road 4230, just south of Timpson, Texas. He was driving a silver 2003 Dodge half-ton pickup truck when he reportedly rammed the vehicle into a fence on private property. Jackson spoke to the elderly landowner, apologizing and stating he was fleeing from “bad people” chasing him.
His truck was later found abandoned two days after his disappearance, with no signs of a struggle, and his inhalers—necessary for his severe asthma—were left inside.
Further evidence was discovered nearby, including his shoes and wedding ring, heightening concerns about his mental state at the time. His behavior had been described as erratic and paranoid, possibly due to emotional or drug-related issues. His loved ones, including his wife, who was pregnant with their first child at the time, remain concerned, especially considering his past struggles with substance abuse.
