Colorado transient murdered during the holiday season On a crisp autumn day in 1984, the quiet of the lower Poudre Canyon near Fort Collins, Colorado, was shattered by a grim discovery. On November 25th, a resident taking a walk stumbled upon the body of a man, later identified as 32-year-old Donald D. Ova. A transient who had been living in the Greeley area, he was a white male. The last time anyone reported seeing him alive was on Thanksgiving Day, just a few days before his body was found.
